A simple will is appropriate for many people based on estate tax exemptions, however, we typically prepare a will package that includes most documents clients require for a fixed fee. The package includes a will wherein you bequeath your property, appoint an executor to administor your estate and appoint a guardian to care for your children. It also includes a living will which states you do not want to be left on life support if you are in a persistent vegetative state. It also includes an Appointment of Health Care Agent who can make health care decisions for you if you are unable. Finally we draft a Durable Power of Attorney that allows a person of your designation to make a variety of other decisions for you if you are unable.
